Paid membership offers gives you access to a network of facility experts to help answer your questions on any facility related issue that you may have. The opportunity to share information is paramount. As a member you will be added to a list serve of all members and this allows you to draw on the vast knowledge of others in facility service and management. As a member you will be able to attend the spring and fall conferences and access to the WVAPPA newsletter online.
WVAPPA supplements and supports both SRAPPA and International APPA. Educational seminars regarding Facilities Management, Supervisors Toolkit, the Book of Knowledge and various publications to help you manage your facilities and staff are just a few of the opportunities that are avaliable.
The member list serve is a great tool to inquire about other institutions uses of products, contractor issues or policies that are in place on their own campuses. This is a great place to learn what other members are using or doing for the same issue you are having on your campus.
WVAPPA has an Annual Meeting in the spring which also includes vendors with the newest products and services avaliable. This is a time to meet the business partners and check on the different contracts the other schools may have with particular vendors. This could be a big cost savings because your institution can piggy-back on the State contract that another school has with that supplier or vendor. It is a win-win situation!
Attached are the Member and Business Partner Applications. These are also avaliable under the conference tab here on this website. You only need to fill this form out once!
